Save as a bookmark

A bookmark is a saved shortcut to a website. You no longer need to type or search for the address – one click is enough.

In Microsoft Edge, the same thing is called a favorite. It still means a saved link that you can open at any time.

This guide is for the computer. Choose the browser you use on your work computer below.

  1. Open your browser
  2. Open Ayunis Core – using the address you received from your organization
  3. Sign in if you are not already signed in

At the top of the browser window you will see a long field with the website address. This is the address bar.

Save the home page of Ayunis Core – the page that appears first after you sign in. Do not save an individual chat. Individual chats can later be deleted or renamed.

Microsoft Edge calls bookmarks favorites.

  1. Open Ayunis Core in Microsoft Edge
  2. Click the star on the right side of the address bar. The button is called Add this page to favorites
  3. A small window opens
  4. Under Name, enter Ayunis Core, for example
  5. Under Folder, choose Favorites bar
  6. Click Done

The star is then filled in. Ayunis Core is saved.

The favorites bar is the row directly below the address bar. If it is missing:

  1. Click inside the browser window so that Edge is active
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + B

The bar appears. It contains the Ayunis Core entry.

  1. Open Ayunis Core in Safari

  • Bar hidden? Show the bookmarks or favorites bar as described above for your browser
  • Wrong folder? The bookmark was saved, but not to the bar. Open your browser’s bookmarks or favorites overview from the menu, then drag Ayunis Core onto the bar
  • Different browser? A bookmark only exists in the browser where you saved it. If you use Chrome and Edge side by side, save Core in the browser you use every day

If you want to start Ayunis Core like a program, add an icon to the desktop. A double-click then opens Core in the browser.

These steps are for Windows. On a Mac, a bookmark remains the simplest option.
