Using the Dictation Function
With the dictation function, you can enter your messages via voice input instead of typing. This is especially practical when you want to ask longer questions or need your hands free.
How to Use the Dictation Function
Section titled “How to Use the Dictation Function”- Click the microphone icon in the chat input area
- Allow microphone access if prompted (a browser prompt appears the first time)
- Speak your message
- Click the microphone icon again to end the recording
- The spoken text appears in the input field
- Review the text and adjust it if needed
- Click Send
Tips for Good Results
Section titled “Tips for Good Results”- Quiet environment – Background noise can affect recognition
- Clear pronunciation – Speak clearly and at a normal pace
- Edit text afterward – Review the recognized text before sending and correct any errors
- Say punctuation – In some browsers, you can say “period,” “comma,” or “question mark” to insert punctuation
Requirements

- A current web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari)
- Microphone permission must be granted in the browser
